About Your Water-Soluble Templates:
These stick & stitch stabilizer sheets feel just like fabric and have your Sashiko designs pre-printed and ready to go. To use, simply peel away the backing (it works just like a sticker!) and smooth the patch onto your fabric—no tracing, no fuss. Stitch your design at your own pace, following the printed lines. When you’re finished, rinse the piece under lukewarm water and watch the stabilizer magically dissolve away. Let it dry, and your beautiful Sashiko design remains, perfectly stitched. It’s that simple!
Some water soluble stabilisers leave a sticky residue on your needle and complicate the stitching – these do not! I use them all the time in my own work and they’ve never made my needle drag.
